The Mirage project is a continuation of the classic Ziegler carpets. They are hand-knotted in Afghanistan by expert elderly craftsmen, following the tradition born in the Arak region of Persia. These carpets have a unique history. The British company Ziegler & co started the production of carpets for the European market here in 1870.
The designs are often taken from Persian carpets. The wool is of unique quality and the colors are natural.
